I don't remember exactly when I became a huge fan on FF, but I can tell you how. At an attempted to get out of my house and out the way of my parents I often went over to one of my mate's house. He was a huge fan of FF6, but back then I had never heard of Final Fantasy or really thought about any kind of RPG. My mate had just bought Final Fantasy VIII and I was watching him play through, and from then on I became hooked. I asked him if I could borrow the game, being new he said no but he did let me borrow his copy of Final Fantasy VII. It must be said that we didn’t see each other for about two weeks after that when I reluctantly handed back FF7. I had only just gotten out of the Northern Creator without Cloud I went and bought my own copy as well as FF8. I completed FF7 by the end of that week and I was loving it.

I started on FF8 as soon as the credits had finished scrolling on FF7 and was well on my way passed the SeeD test and learning all about Garden. By the time I had gotten to the Ragnarok on Disk 3 I was obsessed, and I was enjoying the game a lot as too.
